She's here!

Today was the day! The girls and I went down to Temple last night and stayed with Heather and her girls for the night. This morning, after feeding and turning out the "crowd" at Mtn Lane Farm, we hooked up the trailer and headed for Jazz's Wilton home.

After collecting a little more vital information about Jazz, while Ashley led her around the yard, we walked her into the trailer and hit the road. She traveled well, and was settled down at the pit stops we made. She even had a quick visit with my friends at work. She was eyeing the big field, west of the plant, so we thought it best to load her into the trailer again and get home, where she could run free and have a good stretch.

So here's a glimpse of how things are ... these pictures show Jazz's playground. The first is looking down the pasture, toward the house & barn, from the upper-north end. The second is from the lower-north end looking south, to the other end of the pasture, which you can only barely see. The third is from the upper-south end looking north-west and toward the barn & house. The fourth is looking into her run-in stall from the pasture-entrance. (Click on each to open and view them in a larger window.)

And these show Jazz exploring her new spaces ...

From the barn entrance, looking
north-east
Happy, with a mouthful of hay!

Still exploring!
